Modernizing Technology to Support Learning and Everyday Operations
ABHI’s aging infrastructure needed to evolve to support both educational and administrative operations. Staff and instructors required secure access to organizational resources from multiple locations, while the institute needed more reliable systems, stronger recovery capabilities, and tools that could support future growth.
The challenge extended beyond replacing a server. ABHI also needed to modernize productivity tools, strengthen device security, and simplify endpoint management. These changes had to account for critical applications and keep disruption to day-to-day operations to a minimum.
Solution
Bringing Cloud, Collaboration, and Security Together
One Piece IT developed a modernization strategy that connected cloud infrastructure, workplace tools, and device management. Working with ABHI and external stakeholders, the team supported the move toward a more flexible environment for staff and instructors.
Modernize Core Infrastructure
Migrated the Kroll server environment from on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure. OPIT coordinated with external stakeholders to support the transition and establish a secure cloud-hosted foundation for critical applications.
Enable Connected Work
Deployed and managed Microsoft 365 accounts and cloud-based collaboration tools. Individual work accounts and secure remote access helped staff and instructors connect to organizational resources from multiple locations.
Strengthen Device Management
Supported Windows 11 device modernization, endpoint protection, monitoring, and cloud data synchronization. These initiatives brought device management and security into the broader modernization strategy.
